After ages of being in the ‘neither admitting nor denying’ phase,
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally moved forward. For the
first time ever, Deepika has openly referred to Ranveer as her
“boyfriend.” Yes, you read it right! During an interview post the
Filmfare Awards ceremony, while answering to the oft-asked question
about how Ranveer feels about her working with her ex, Ranbir Kapoor,
the actress said that it is unfair to ask how secure or insecure her
“boyfriend” is. The actress said it would be apt to ask Ranveer the
question, but on her part she tries her best to make the “relationship
easier” by being honest about her feelings towards everyone in her life.
Impressive as her answer was, what we just can’t stop raving about is
the fact that she’s finally ready to make her alleged relationship
official.
The dynamic and always full-of-life Ranveer Singh picked up the Filmfare
Award for Best Actor for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao
Mastani.' Ranveer Singh beat out stiff competition from Bollywood
superstars like SRK, Salman Khan and even megastar Amitabh Bachchan to
bag the prized trophy. The actor then reportedly proceeded to touch his
parent’s feet to seek their blessings. He then did the unimaginable and
went on to touch alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone’s parents' feet. Is
this an indication of the two finally admitting to being more than just
"good friends."
