I look for interesting elements in the roles I choose: Anand Raj

His role in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan might have been small, but Anand Raj managed to get the laughs from the audience in his scenes. After the success of this film, the actor's got a slew of offers in his kitty now. He's simultaneously working on four films, which includes Santhanam's Dhilluku Dhuddu, Bobby Simhaa's Vallavanukkum Vallavan, GV Prakash's Bruce Lee and a Telugu film with actor Sunil. And of course, the actor is enjoying this phase now. "I look for interesting elements in the roles I choose. Gladly, many filmmakers approach me for specific roles that have been well-etched," says Anand Raj.

Talking about his role in Dhilluku Dhuddu, he says, "I play the role of Santhanam's father in the film. It is a pretty big role, and the role is quite funny. I am a fighter in the film. I aspire to become an actor like Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, and end playing a dupe character." The actor will essay the role of police officer in Vallavanukkum Vallavan and Bruce Lee. "In Simhaa's film, it is a serious role with a humour touch. While GV's film, it is a different characterisation altogether. From the body language to the way we speak — there is a lot of difference." Anand Raj also dubbed first time for the Telugu version of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
