'Visaranai' which will be hitting the screens tomorrow amid huge
expectations has been inspired from a Tamil novel 'Lockup' written by a
Coimbatore based Auto Driver Chandrakumar. This is the first film that
the Vetrimaran has taken inputs from another writer's stor.. So it will
be a curious question as to how much of the film will match with the
novel's contents.

interview has said that only the first half of 'Visaranai' has been
inspired from 'Lockup' and he has written the second half of the film
based on a few true incidents that have taken place in Tamil Nadu in the
recent past.
'Visaranai' starring Dinesh, Anandhi,
Samuthirakani, Ramadoss has been produced by Dhanush and Vetrimaran and
