A couple of days ago
reported that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be making a cameo
appearance in 'Meenkuzhambbum Manpaanayum'. Dushyanth Ramkumar the
grandson of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan and the son of the veteran's
elder son Ramkumar.
Now the makers have officially confirmed Kamal Haasan's participation in the project.
The official statement released by the
makers today says "Ulaga Nayagan Dr.Kamal Hassan has agreed to do a
special appearance in the Film "Meen Kuzhambbum Manpaanayum. The film is
being produced by Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan’s Grandson Dusshyanth
Ramkumar and his wife Abirami Dusshyanth under their banner Eshan
Productions. The producers believe it could not have been possible but
for the Respect, Love and Affection Dr.Kamal Hassan has for Nadigar
Thilagam."
The film stars Ashna Zaveri as the
female lead opposite Kalidas the son of actor Jayaram. Veteran actor
Prabhu plays an important supporting role in the flic while Pooja Kumar
of ‘Viswaroopam’ fame is acting in an important character of a female
don based in Malaysia. The supporting cast also includes veterans,
Oorvasi, M.S.Baskar, Santhana Bharathi , R.S.Shivaji and other in its
cast.
The Movie is directed by debutant
Amudeshvar and the principal crew comprises of Music director D. Imman ,
Lyrist Madhan Karky, Cinematographer Laxman Kumar, Editor Richard Kevin

Dushyanth has launched a new production
banner Eshan Production and this is the first film he is producing a
film on his own. He has been taking care of the production ventures of
Sivaji Productions owned by the veteran’s family.
