Telugu remake of Vedalam!

Hyderabad Times was the first to report that Pawan Kalyan will be teaming up with director SJ Suryah — who earlier directed Kushi — next. Since the news broke speculation has been rife that Pawan has given the nod to star in a remake of Tamil superstar Ajith's Veeram. Well the hearsay is only half true. We have reliably learnt that the Power Star has given his consent to star in the remake of another Ajith starrer, Vedalam, instead.

"After discussing several story lines, they have zeroed in on of Vedalam. The duo felt the plotline of the Ajith-starrer would be perfect for Pawan Kalyan. A revenge drama, the film has the perfect mix of action and entertainment," shares a source from the unit of Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

"While SJ Suryah has been frequenting the sets, even the producer of Vedalam recently met Pawan Kalyan recently. The pre-production work is also underway," adds the source.
