Commercial success of a film can be
ascertained by its performance at the box office and the number of days
it holds on to theaters. But for the popularity of a film there are many
other yardsticks and the most prominent among them is the film
inspiring many other form of creative works.
South India's biggest ever blockbuster
'Baahubali' directed by S.S.Rajamouli made a worldwide collection of
more than Rs.500 crores and completed the remarkable 100 day run in many
centers across the globe.
Now Graphic India a comic book company
based in USA has come forward to join hands with the Team Baahubali and
create a comic book based on its story, Titled as 'Baahubali: The Lost
legends' there will be three graphic novels out of which two are already
under production. There are also plans to design 'Baahubali' mobile
games and animation.
Rajamouli the creator of this grand
visual spectacle will be overseeing the creation of graphic novels and
will be providing inputs. He also revealed that the graphic novels will
include segments of Baahubali story that were not revealed in the film.
Rajamouli has also confirmed that the
shooting of the much expected sequel to 'Baahubali' is presently
underway and it will be wrapped up within August or September this year.
The film will release by the end of 2016 or anytime in 2017.
