As we had reported earlier, the Election
commission in a bid to conduct impending 2016 Assembly polls in Tamil
Nadu in a free and fast manner and ensure the people's participation in
it, has planned to make public videos featuring popular celebrities to
create awareness about the elections..
In his recent press interaction. Rajesh
Lakhani, the Chief Election Officer of Tamil Nadu confirmed that an
awareness video has been shot with actress Nayanthara and it will be
released soon. He also revealed that the commission has approached
Superstar Rajinikanth to be part of this awareness campaign as he is the
most popular celebrity in Tamil Nadu.

Ashwin have already shot for the election awareness videos. The video
featuring Ashwin has been doing great rounds in social media.
If the Superstar gives his nod to the commission's request, we can be assured that the campaign will have a huge success.
