Ramakrishnan who has filed a complaint to the Chalakudy police doubting
that his brother could have been murdered with a poisonous substance in
the hospital.
Based on the complaint raised by
Ramakrishnan and the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of
the veteran actor, the police have registered an FIR under Section 174
CrPc and booked a case of Unnatural Death.
The mortal remains of Mani has been
shifted to the Government Medical College at Thrissur for the postmortem
and the police will probe further after the medical reports arrive.
Thrrisur police will make inquiries with the doctors and others who had access to the victim during his last days.
Meanwhile it is being rumored that
methyl alcohol a poisonous substance found in liquor) was found in
Mani's body. The police will have to probe whether this was true after
